None of the following is an endorsement of the current system.

Yeah, it's sub-optimal and it's a bit kludgy, but it works.

      To fix it:
      -Costs $$$$$
      -Costs time
-Overrides planned program changes in the pipeline
      -Creates opportunities to screw up
-Will create more issues which will make others unhappy.
-Doesn't improve the system in a substantive manner.

      Best.

It's a clear design flaw, not really expensive to fix, creates much better UX and can be easily included into the next sprint. However, the companies, once secure the government contracts, forget about the competition and product improvements. That's why a good chunk of the government information systems is still based on the last century technologies.

Permitium LLC sells their online services and software, not consulting services for the client's software. In other words, they are not your contractor fixing your homegrown solution. They offer their proprietary software for rent. It's a complete different scenario.

Not the same as Sig P320, with the Sig FCU as the serialized part, but hope it gives you another data point.

@mountainmark, congrats! I just had my interview today. I was told unless Livescan shows something we don't know, I should be GTG. They told me to go ahead and take the training now and upload the cert within 2 weeks, max 3 weeks from today. I see you didn't do the training for a month until after the interview. I wonder why they are pushing the 2-3 weeks for training, wonder if the training requirements might change in light of SB918.

They said the livescans from May are now being processed so prob another 3-4 more weeks for mine to clear. I submitted it on 6/1.
