Reading the proceed to training email it says that I can’t qualify with a different firearm than the one listed in my application. Of course the application was submitted more than 18 months ago.

I want to replace one of my 3. Has anyone dealt with this?

I have. I only qualified with one of the 3 guns on my application and two different ones. The 3 I qualified with are on my licence. They said nothing to me about it. What you qualify with is what goes on your CCW. So it is a non issue.

When did you submit your proof of training?

I applied a week after the supreme court ruling in New York. I got my proceed to training on 11/25/23 and submitted training on 12/9/23. I didn't keep track of the dates along the way

Oh cool, i submitted my training on 12/17/23 so i should be getting the call soon!

Finally got email today to submit docs + submit livescan

7/22 - dropped off application at LASD station.
09/23- Fingerprints
10/23 - interview call and documentation sent detective.
11/23 cleared for firearms training
12/23 training completed and sent same to LASD
02/2024- no pick up call in sight

1/24 - proceed to training

I am wondering if the people who receive these emails are also doing interviews. So far we have seen from a few people that they were emailed this request but I havent seen any follow up that they had an interview.

It has been 580 days since July 16, 2022. That's approximately 19.00 months or 1.59 years since I submitted a LASD CCW application.

They contacted you recently about updating your documents which is a positive thing. Your application didnt get misplaced!!! The wheels are turning . It's just taking a long time, and yes it's frustrating. Be patient.

I haven't been called for my interview yet. The lady on the phone said I would be assigned to an investigator once they received my documents. It's been over a week.
