1/30/22 did my training and went over best way to apply
1/31/22 Mailed application certified overnight
2/08/22 check cashed
10/13/22 call for interview
10/18/22 interview
10/18/22 did live scan on way home from interview.
11/07/22 final live scan completed.
1/13/23 email to proceed to training
1/16/23 email of training received
3/10/23 at 11 am a no caller ID phone call received for pick up 4/21

Start to finish a little over 14 months, almost done.

I booked Burbank firing line went in, first hour was a uscca infomercial with one of their reps that I walked out of. My time is worth more than spending a little extra. I then booked with VIP CCW services which had his training course via live zoom then the live fire in person at lax range. That was more convenient for me just cost a little more

I wonder if that USCCA presentation time would have actually extended the time of your class? I think we're stuck with them for 8 hours so they probably just do it because they have time to spare.

I did my training with Medic Up and they had USCCA present to give a short presentation. Ive heard it before so I just passed the time on my phone. Its nothing to be discouraged by, if you have never heard it before its good info to have.

Either way the whole Medic Up team is top notch when it comes to training. We also got some "Stop the Bleed" training; tourniquets, gauze packing and chest seals. Something everyone whos carrying should know.

I went with firing Line in burbank, I'm not disappointed at all those who know, know. Plus it only costs 150. Ill be doing my renewals their when its time. Trust man its the cheapest. The wife went with medicup its a good class but it was pricey.

It counts as part of the class. I have nothing bad to say about firing line. Pretty sure others will say the same.

Well in that first hour I heard over 20 questions which is a sign of things to come for the next 7 hours....

Ahh ok I?ll keep waiting, me and a few others from my certification class all submitted the same day it looks like everyone else after us has received a call. I hope they didn?t misplace our paper work 😭

Haha nah they're gonna call but they're not in any specific order we should be getting the call soon I'm hoping within the next couple weeks
