So tired of this guy's clickbait and same old thumbnails. His channel used to actually be informative when there was real news, not speculation that the ATF is about to be abolished or something along those lines, just based off some brief filed somewhere.

100% agree with you!!!! I unsubscribed the minute he started doing these click bait screens and titles a while back. As you said he used to be very good, very informative but he stopped that and is now looking for clicks and $

It will be, the frustration for most is waiting for the challenge to work it's way through the Court's to SCOTUS, which usually takes more than a few years.

SCOTUS has indicated that they may intercede directly per the emergency request by Antonyuk, NY. They are waiting for 2nd circuit to address before they intercede. Antonyuk contains much the same nonsense as SB2.
Let's hope they follow through so we don't have to wait years.

Hi guys, I mailed out on May 2022 but I don't see my check ever getting cashed, and still didn't receive any email from them. Should I be concerned or is it very possible they don't cash checks until later?

Would it be ok to communicate with them to see if my application is still active?

I would recommend you email or call them. Takes about 9 months to get to the interview portion of the process. So you should be right in the interview stage right now.

If I were you I would contact the CCW unit to see what the deal is. They can tell you if your application was input into the system. And from what I was told about a month ago they were processing April/May 2022 at that time. Call M-F between 8am-1pm this seems to be the time the answer. Their number is 213-229-3110.

Picked up 02/23/2023
Was quick and easy in and out less than 5 minutes -
Deputy called me in to office , takes money order , verified quick info like name , DOB , firearms listed , you initial and sign a form with option to take a picture of the form, then takes your thumb print /photo and prints out Ccw license on spot. Asked her about future renewal she said the sheriffs dept is working on an online renewal portal soon so they should move faster for renewals. Hands you Ccw and sheriffs Ccw letter then the happy walk back up the hill to your vehicle.

I recommend arriving to lobby 30 minutes prior of appointment set hard time.
Parking sucks sometimes along the hill and the deputy is squared away on timing for appointments. Saw a couple guys missed appointments by few minutes and had to reschedule.

I waited about 12 weeks for phone call (Sunday morning call at 1030) to pick up scheduled a month out blocked number after receiving training docs received email. Hope this helps guys!
