I emailed my forms with the FIREARMS TRAINING subject and haven't heard back either.
Some get a confirmation email of receipt but, like you, I haven't as yet.
Since the go to training email has instructions not to contact them, I'm just using Bryan's spreadsheet to estimate when I might get the pick up call.
If it goes beyond that timeframe, I'll call or email.

True but that same email says don't ask us for an update. I don't think the "hey y'all got my training docs" is an update question... Aghhhh who knows anymore my friend

you could just send them an e-mail with the training docs again.. that's not considered a "follow up" LOL

I just wanted to be sure because I'm researching for my brother. He lives in the city of San Gabriel so does he apply for CCW with LA County Sheriff?

Finally got the call for pick up - set for late February this morning unknown number

Waited about 9 weeks for pick up call after submitting training docs to LASD

Did everyone submit training via reply to the original training auth email? Or is it better to draft a new email? The auth email says to reply to it, but then mentions subject should be “FIREARMS TRAINING” which is a different subject line.

I just replied as the word " FIREARMS TRAINING" was already in the subject line but then again I haven't even gotten the email confirmation that they received it... So who knows man

Dude it's been less than 24 hours and it's a weekend. Besides things like these should be all the more reason why they should move even quicker than the 12+ months it takes. Now imagine someone in this event has a pending application from a year ago and was waiting for issuance? Not saying anything would go different but having a chance to fight is better than being there to accept a hot hollow point and become a statistic

I believe San Gabriel has its own police department. He would have to apply with San Gabriel PD. LASD will not accept his application unless his city is patrolled by them.

I went to the San Gabriel PD website and they had no info about CCW applications. Guess he's going to have to call or drop by. Thanks guys

What additional email recipient? Aside from the initial interview instructional email, all emails have been coming from/going to CCW_unit@lasd.org and there were no instructions to add another recipient.
