A CCW from another state isn't enough to authorize you to purchase a firearm in the other state. They're going to have to send it to an FFL in California and you're going to have to start your DROS here.

Just wait folks! There's a court hearing scheduled on 2/10/23 at 1:30pm for the CA Roster case. It is believed that the hearing will go in the favor of 2A. Soon as the CA roster is abolished, people can just get a regular P320 :P

I hate to be the bad news guy, but it ain't happening that quick. It will takes years. What IS on deck is a potential overturning of the California assault weapons ban and the high capacity mag ban.

I agree, even if it does go in our favor, there will be appeals etc, don't think it'll be an over night thing. But hoping for the best!

In this process after sending our training docs in do we get a training docs received email as I emailed them right away when proceed to training came to me and have not heard a peep that they got the cert and form...

The roster case was already heard by the same judge hearing it now and he ruled in 2A favor and that was BEFORE Bruen. So its not impossible to think something could happen around 02/10. The other thing you must take into consideration is the state appealing and the 9th circuit removing any action this federal judge puts in place. This could be a small window of time similar to freedom week.

Training docs receipt email

In this process after sending our training docs in do we get a training docs received email as I emailed them right away when proceed to training came to me and have not heard a peep that they got the cert and form...

I emailed my forms with the FIREARMS TRAINING subject and haven't heard back either.
Some get a confirmation email of receipt but, like you, I haven't as yet.
Since the go to training email has instructions not to contact them, I'm just using Bryan's spreadsheet to estimate when I might get the pick up call.
If it goes beyond that timeframe, I'll call or email.

just have your credit cards ready.. JUST IN CASE! but then again, you can only buy 1 handgun every 30 days... so if another freedom week happens, you can only get 1 haha

There are mixed reviews on how soon or late to send a follow-up check email. But I will say since yours was recently sent on the 17th I would wait at least a week from the time to sent it.

On a side note, it seems like the people who have already done training and respond back immediately to the "proceed to training" email have a faster turn around time on the "docs received" email.
