Got the pickup call today (Saturday), but I missed it - didn't expect them to call on a weekend. The deputy just said they will call next time to schedule... anyone know the time period between calls?

everyone stay patient. Do not think about whether or not to submit your app. Regardless of the recent laws in not requiring us to have a "good cause", still interview well and present a good case. Do not go into your interview, THIS IS MY RIGHT.

Submitted my app July 2021. Process took about 15 months. Don't think just submit an app. Submit it and forget about it. Do not stress about it, because it will eat you alive. We are unfortunately at the mercy of their decision making. Do not illegally carry. If you choose to do so, do it at your own risk and understand the consequences.

Application numbers may be even crazier now. ANYTHING can happen. They may speed it up, they may slow it down. They can put a complete pause on it, and we all know it may be for a bs reason, but as much as people can complain, again, we are at the mercy of them approving US to have this privilege. So my advice, just submit your app. Do not put it off any longer than you need to.

Probably one week. They book a week at a time I believe.

One might even wonder if the CRPA’s letter for compliance to all the sheriffs might have anything to do with this new schedule. Let’s hope this weekend schedule stays so that we can see faster processing times.

Got call today Saturday Oct 1st to pick up permit next Saturday. I sent application 9/2021 interview was in July 2022. At time of interview I turned in training docs. Firearms cleared 8/2022. I never received proceed to training email.

I’ve got my interview this week. I plan on bringing my GC supporting docs(bank statements, photos, deposit slips etc) just in case. My question is, in light of Bruen, when my interviewer asks me why I want a CCW permit, should I explain my GC, which is a legit, business owning related reason to want a ccw(I have and will bring documented proof of it)or should I just simply say I want to be able to defend myself, without going into detail/GC? Any advice would be much appreciated.

It is not even on the application anymore, they removed it. So I doubt they will even ask about.

I interviewed in February and they didn’t ask me why I wanted a permit. Was mostly about going over the application.

Walked away from my phone for 2 minutes and missed the blocked unknown call, sigh. Was left a voicemail saying that they will call again the next time the are scheduling appointments for CCW pick up, no idea why they don't just do this step via email or have a number to call back. Horribly inefficient.

Going on 14 months since my initial application and glad the end is in sight.

Ugh that sucks! It's weird, my dad missed his call, but the deputy left a call back number.

Well with an 8/8 livescan clearance... I figured I might as well do my training. So thats done. Just waiting for the proceed to training email. Im curious are yall getting electronic certificates or are you just scanning the ones you get in person?

Scan the documents you bring and that the instructor signs. Make sure email subject is Firearms Training

I have two friends that applied in June of 2021 (on the same day). One of them picked up their CCW already this month. The other one got the email two weeks ago to begin training. I applied in July of 2021 and I am still waiting on the email to proceed to training.

I completed my training a few days ago. I met a couple of individuals who were on their 3rd renewal cycle!! Didn't know that the Sheriff was issuing that far back.... Anyway, a very good, but crowded class.

I am still waiting for my proceed to training email as well. It is so frustrating to see so many people who applied after me being issued, but alas, what other choice do I have other than waiting?
