Got the call to pick up 2 days ago 33 days after I submitted my training docs.

I got confirmation from the unit that they got my docs and not to contact them the same day. They will call me when ready. Call came from private #.

Has anybody ever gotten a call from the department the same day that you received the "training documents received" email? I got the confirmation email yesterday and then also got a call from a blocked phone number. It was awful timing though because I was in a situation where I couldn't answer the phone.. It could be nothing, or it could be a pure coincidence, but I NEVER receive calls from blocked numbers.... Has anybody had this happen? Maybe they were calling because they needed additional info?

Highly doubt you would have received "the call" for pick up the same day you received the confirmation email. My guess is either they needed more information (which I think they would have emailed rather than called, as that's what they did for me), or a coincidence is more likely

They call you because they set an appointment time to come in. You need a MO or cashiers check for $120 made out to lasd

We know that, but was stating it would be HIGHLY unlikely you'd receive that call the same day you received your confirmation email that they received your training docs
