Just received a call for my interview
I just received a call for my interview, which will be next Wednesday, in Monterey Park. Any advice for the interview?Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual).

You will be told at the entrance gate by the officer to drive and exit the station and park on the hill. When you exit the gate do a u turn and park along the hill. It will be a walk as the station is in the middle. Dress business, arrive 15min early and bring all the documents and copies they requested. Wait where they tell you. The interview is a review of your ccw app and a checklist of questions. Good luck.Comment

Just picked up today and here is my experience:
Went into the Monterey Park Sheriff's Station and mentioned at the front that I'm here for CCW Pickup. Waited for 10 min and named was called by female deputy. Showed CDL, Cashier's check for $120. verified name, dob, height, weight. Occupation and Work address along with firearm model. Initialed and signed CCW Permit Terms of Use agreement. Deputy stated to take a photo of it on my phone if I wanted a copy. Took photo and was handed CCW and letter from Sherrif Villanueva. She told me to visit the CA DOJ website for info on where you can carry and restrictions. Whole process took 15 min. Good luck to all!Los Angeles County CCW- Yellow GC

7/21/2021- check cashed and livescan done
2/09/2022- interview
7/11/2022- CCW unit emailed me for utility bill for final review, submitted home internet bill
8/23/22- Got call to schedule pickup

03/30/2023: Received call to schedule for interview

06/23/2023: Received proceed to training email; replied same day (already did training before)
08/14/2023: Received call for pickup
