Are you all telling me it’s a year to process an application. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. It’s literally an application that takes 20 minutes to input into a system.

Going to submit an application soon. Praying for a quick turn around.

Sorry but had to laugh my *** off at that one. Currently over 16000 apps in the system and 12 deputies to do the work. Not including the 3-4 month wait for Cal DOJ.

If you completed your LiveScan, decided to take the training before receiving the Training email, has anyone sent in the Training Doc's before receiving the Training email?

Yes, many of us have sent our docs before being asked to, they email that they received them but wont print for the file. but please wait for the "proceed to training" and then email them again (with the proper header).

Thank you, was going to suggest it to some friends, hoping to cut out more waiting time, doubtful at this point they will get them issued before SB918. What a waste of 14 months and counting for them.

My guess SB 918 will kick in within a few days and everything will come to a halt until the new procedures are set up.

Even New York state had the "decency" to put off the date of effectiveness until Sept 1

I have 2 awaiting the training email, one of them had their Livescan completed 07/25, the other 08/01. They are probably just backed up.

Probably! Seems so inconsistent with how quick or slow people get the training email

Me too, mine was actually less than week to clear firearms!

This is a big plus! Starting to see a strong trend of DOJ Firearms clearing quickly these days. #ironic
