Yes my training facility instructor at Burbank wrote out signed completion certs immediately after the course was completed and handed them to each attendee.

You will be told at the entrance gate by the officer to drive and exit the station and park on the hill. When you exit the gate do a u turn and park along the hill. It will be a walk as the station is in the middle. Dress business, arrive 15min early and bring all the documents and copies they requested. Wait where they tell you. The interview is a review of your ccw app and a checklist of questions. Good luck.

Don't know if the information helps out but I emailed LASD because of a minor error on my app and with the corrected info....they completely ignored my question/correction and gave me a standard reply of "Your app has not yet been entered into the system. Please check again in 4-6 weeks"

SO if you've recently applied and were wondering about the wait time, just know at minimum it's gonna take about 3+ months just to even enter your app into the system (they received mine 2 months ago).

7/7/2021- Applied at the ELA station
3/3/2022-Interview in Monterey Park
3/3/2022-Livescan submitted
5/10/2022-Firearms cleared
7/7/2022-Proceed with training email received
7/11/2022- Certificate received
8/29/2022- call for pickup from private number at 1:30 PM.. 8/31 pickup date
