Not sure about that, I didnt follow the rules of waiting and not asking for an update but i was always very polite with my emails to them. in the end they are people just like all of us and want to be treated with respect.

Posting some great news for July applicants. Got the call today to schedule my interview, which will be on March 9.

My timeline is as follows:

7/2/21 Application Received
8/9/21 Check cashed
2/15/22 Call for interview
3/9/22 Interview pending.

A friend who applied around the same time I did got his call for the interview last week. For some reason his check had been cashed in a month before mine did.

Congratulations. I know a few who applied mid-June and are still waiting for a call. I keep telling them to have patience, but they keep reading about July applicants. So much for first come, first served.

Pretty sure it depends on what you're emailing/calling them for. I got an email from CCW Unit on Monday and emailed back the requested document/picture. Then I got an email today from her again but it was sent to the wrong person so I called her and let her know and then asked her if she had received my email from Monday. She found my email after looking for a bit and then sent a "Received" reply. She said my email "was in a different folder". Wondering what folder that was lol. Maybe spam?
But yeah. Don't call or email her once a week and ask for an update (it's literally one person handling the stuff). After my interview she literally told me not to call or email her for 90 days and only email her if she requests additional documents.

Well you sure got lucky. I'd expect a call/email from them by the end of the month

I would expect a call and or e-mail from them at the end of March (4 months for you)... I got my training email just short of 120 days....they didn't call me either so check your emails.

Call them to make sure they received it. I had to call to make sure my they had received my emails (she had to dig for a bit to find them)

I’m just wondering if everyone that received a proceed to training email received a confirmation that they’re docs were received? I sent my docs in and I never received a confirmation email.

As for me after about 3 months after interview. They call me and then email me with instructions for training and how to send the documents after. After I have sent them my docs they reply with documents received and wait 4 weeks after.

My interview went okay. Deputy was strictly business. Did not necessarily jive with the personable angle I tried to take. They drilled down fairly hard into what my job entails and asked for both paystub and a letter from my employer. They asked many additional yes/no questions that are not on the initial application but are similar in nature (police interactions, any disputes with co-workers, drug use, etc.). I provided an entire report folder with all my supporting documents.

I was asked if I had already done the livescan (I said no), and then told to proceed with it, the sooner the better. Said it's at least 8 weeks for them to get the livescan results back before they email to proceed with training.
