Pretty sure I have to inform LASD and once I do, i have 30 60 or 90 days until it expires.

Our rent on the West Side is going up like ****ing crazy. We currently pay $3200/ month for a 1 bedroom 900 sq ft. When our lease ends in May, it's going to be $4500/month.

I just can't pay that much money for a one bedroom in good conscience as much as I love our neighborhood.

My old man who is also accustomed to living with one of my siblings, the youngest sister left for Med School in August and he's been alone since. So my wife and I are going to move in with him to help pay the mortgage and keep him some company. Basically it's his first time in the 70 years of his life he's lived alone.

@seaweed I'll mail you my card once I move brother!

      Not necessarily butter cup…

The purpose of the issuance is based on county residency. Once you move to a new jurisdiction, your permit will expire in 90 days and you’d have to reapply in the new jurisdiction.

26150 - Basic requirements and the 'may issue' language.
      Quote:
      (a) When a person applies for a license to carry a pistol,
revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the
person, the sheriff of a county may issue a license to that person
upon proof of all of the following:
      (1) The applicant is of good moral character.
      (2) Good cause exists for issuance of the license.
      (3) The applicant is a resident of the county or a city within the
county, or the applicant's principal place of employment or business is in the county or a city within the county and the applicant spends a substantial period of time in that place of employment or
      business.

      (4) The applicant has completed a course of training as described
      in Section 26165.
      (b) The sheriff may issue a license under subdivision (a) in
      either of the following formats:
      (1) A license to carry concealed a pistol, revolver, or other
firearm capable of being concealed upon the person.
      (2) Where the population of the county is less than 200,000
persons according to the most recent federal decennial census, a
license to carry loaded and exposed in only that county a pistol,
revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the
      person.

$4500/month, OMG, why don't you buy a house and pay that amount as a mortgage?
            I will miss you.

Average price home on the West Side is $750K+ for a 2 bed room apt.

We don't have the $37.5K-$75K to put as a down payment.
              Also can't afford the $750 HOA /month.

Probably rent for a two or three years until we can save up for that down payment. Hopefully I can bleach enough *******s to pay for that HOA.

Or we could move to like West Adams...or Mid City.

              Naw **** that.

I would not count on them to take a BHPD incident report and somehow look it up, if that's even possible, or call them. I would call them and tell them the number and let they know you will be following up with the report itself as soon as you can get a copy and a copy of the restraining order as soon as that is available. Then as soon as you have the incident report, e-mail with a note that the application for the restraining order is on the way. As soon as you send that, let them know that the actual restraining order is on the way, and then send that as soon as you can.

I think you want to send every piece as soon as you can AND let them know what is still to come so they do not make a decision too early and you want to make sure they have as little work as possible to do.
I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.
