Cheaper no; Firing line in Burbank is cheaper. Training quality- Josh is good and you get your money's worth in re ccw laws, application et.al.

Firing line is only $150.00 in regards to the price and plus ammo of course which is more expensive because of the shortage. The online class is about $300.00 but it is more convenient. If you're willing to pay double just to do online, go for it.

Congrats, hopefully your training doesn't expire. Sometimes you are given some slack if you complete your live scan and training without them advising you to do so.

Hey guys! How long does it take usually to firearms portion to clear on the livescan? Mine has been on going for a few months.

I personally wouldn't get training done until you are done with interview for fear of expiration. VIP CCW has online class and it was pretty open when I took it in November which was 2 weeks after interview date. Range qualification was a week later about. Breaking it up into 2 4 hour sessions made it easier to complete if you are busy.

Mine took about 7.5 months for issuance.

That's true BUT for any reason that you are denied, that's about 200-300 down the drain.

Until it clears and until it is sent over to the ccw unit probably takes some time. They're heavily defunded and really short on staff.

Training was $150 for me. It was a interesting class. Learned a thing or two. so no regrets

Not the training. I asked the deputy when she was scheduling my interview and she said it's good for 1 year.
