For everyone: What are your thoughts on these "combined" good cause classifications? For those who went into this process with multiple good causes that range from work-related to recreational, every interaction with the CCW unit including and beyond the initial interview seems to indicate that dark/light red and yellow good causes are ultimately selected as the applicant's primary good cause. From what I have seen, not a single person who has applied with light/dark green in addition to yellow/light red/dark red has reported to have had a deputy focus their attention on a good cause that is recreational (light green) or "average daily life" (dark green) in nature.

Unless someone's interviewer specifically opted to use their light/dark green good cause over their yellow/light red/dark red good cause, doesn't it make more sense to classify one's own good cause in accordance with the good cause the CCW Unit has likely assigned to your file? E.g.: An applicant with yellow & light green good causes should consider themselves to have yellow good cause only, unless there has otherwise been some specific indication that the green element(s) of their GC is being weighted more highly.

It was a mix of yellow GC my job has me on call so I can get called out any time throw out the day/night and I am often in areas when i go hiking where bear and wildlife are present. My deputy seemed to care more about GMC more than GC

In my case he was overly focused on me, so when I mentioned that due to my father's condition, I have to be by his side almost constantly and consequently we'd be unable to withdraw to avoid any kind of escalation of anything, he wasn't even remotely interested, even though I brought hospital papers showing the CABG
