I was going to say “Can you guys do me a favor”, but since I don’t live in LA Co, it is really for yourselves.

Can some of you ask AV for the next town hall “roughly when will the application process move online: in days? weeks? months? Or years?”

Ask it just that way so he doesn’t feel like you’re expecting an exact date. My guess is he’ll eliminate days and years and give us an estimate in weeks or months.

I wonder why they even bother with in-house online platform when there is already one available, and since it works with many jurisdictions, I don't think their prices would be overly inflated. I'm talking about Permitium system that OC uses

I believe we get better information from the experiences of CG users than from the AV town halls. The system is far from perfect and the process will take time and leave many scratching their heads. If you get frustrated, go to the range and poke holes in paper as I do. There doesn't appear to be any way to accelerate approvals from our side.

1623 issued, 233 in the hopper, 7519 total applications.

It comes out to approx. 33 issued a week and 1317 more people applied since the last report, three weeks ago.

I think someone has a graph indicating the trajectory of approvals, etc
