I got bored and created this Excel spreadsheet of all the training providers from the LASD list. I added the cost, class duration, and where the training was held using the provider links from the LASD list.

Hope it helps other to decide who to take the training with.

We ran out of Truly here. Had to find something to do besides bothering the CCW unit. Don't want to be put in the "Denied" pile

The CA and FBI portions generally comes back in a day or less. The firearms portion was the part that was taking forever back in April/May. Judging from other who submitted recently you should be good in less than a week.

Might be a dumb question, but I also recently finished my interview. I was given the livescan sheet. How do I proceed forward on that? Do I go to any Livescanner, pay the fees, and just do the fingerprinting that way or do I have to actually do it at a station?

Thanks to Paladin for reviewing my GC statement, and to VinhTran1 for the email.

Picked up my CCW permit today, noticed that there is a stack of approval letters so probably minimum of about 10 people picked up theirs today.

Hopefully by sharing my timeline, it will give other applicants a gauge on how things are moving along:

Application sent InterviewedLivescan - CA completed 3/30/21
- FBI completed 3/30/21
- Firearms completed 5/1/21
Firearms trainingCCW issued

I take that back, after looking at the chart again, I think it's more accurate to classify it as a combination of yellow and dark green.
