assigned station?

I think I've seen in this thread where some folks got interviewed in Chatsworth and some interviewed in Monterey Park.

Just recently, me and a few others have had their interviews in Whittier. I wonder if there are only a few deputies/locations that conduct the interviews and, depending on where your own "home-base" is, they'll put your app in to get interviewed at a location closer to you, but you're kind of at the mercy of how backed up that particular location is before you get assigned to a handler and go through the process?

My student called a station to drop his app off, and they told him to drop it off directly to Hall of Justice, so he did on April 9. He got a call and scheduled for an interview for this Thursday.

So it seems if you drop it off directly to the CCW unit at Hall of Justice, it is far faster than dropping it off at another station, where folks tell me the inter-department mail can take some time.

My buddy dropped his at the Hall of Justice front desk on 9th and they cashed the check. However, he has not received any calls from the dept.

I paid with cash. Have a receipt from the local station I dropped it off at.

I mailed in my application April 5th
They received in April 6th
Cashed my money order April 15th
No call yet as of 5/9/21

I wait and cross my fingers for that final approval.

I have a quick question...what are applicants in LA County using for proof of residency...is vehicle registration and/or recent Tax returns acceptable?...I dont really have a utility bill except for my Cell phone and my bill payment is paid over the phone..the only paper bill I have is my car insurance....help is appreciated.

yes auto registration is do able.

I used my auto reg also. I did bring everything else just in case.

ie: IRS paperwork, paycheck stub, auto reg, credit card bill, and anything else that was mailed to me.

Got a phone call this morning, it sounded like it might be for the interview application at first since it was "LEO-related", but it ended up being a call for some LEO-related PAC asking for donations, instead.

thank you very much...I filled out the application today with a good cause letter with a money order for $30....said a prayer...and delivered it to the hall of justice in los angeles..now the wait begins.
