thank you very much...I filled out the application today with a good cause letter with a money order for $30....said a prayer...and delivered it to the hall of justice in los angeles..now the wait begins.

Got a phone call this morning, it sounded like it might be for the interview application at first since it was "LEO-related", but it ended up being a call for some LEO-related PAC asking for donations, instead.

What is a good proof document to attach to my app to prove that my disabled aunt lives with me? Copy of her ID showing the same address? Phone bill? Should I consider taking her with me to the interview? Thanks guys!

If she has a CA ID with address that will be the best document to show she lives at the same address. As for your aunt's disability, I would think a letter from her doctor explaining her condition would be a good idea.

I wouldn't take her to the interview with you.
With the covid precautions out of courtesy I wouldn't bring her.

Im her resident caretaker. My 80yr old aunt can't walk anymore due to her scoliosis so Im responsible to bring her to church, doctors, market, etc every week in a wheelchair.

Is exactly what I did. I sent the application with my check. My GC statement was concise and to the point. I figured my GC is either valid or it's not. Getting all verbose and sending a bunch attachments wouldn't change my GC. I do however have proof ready for my interview, if i get one.

I sent my application last week included GC letter and all the proof and supporting documentation, it weight total of 1 lbs and 5oz for the package haha

Dropped application in San Dimas on 3/16. Check cashed 3/22. Interview phone call 5/10 and interview date 5/13. Wish me luck. GC is work related.

3/18- Dropped off application at temple city location
5/3- Cash checked and received call for interview
5/11- Did interview

Question, for those who have gone through the interview and got a livescan form afterwards, is there still a chance good cause won’t be accepted and a denial letter be sent? Reason being, deputy stated the only good cause he will accept would be light red or yellow, however, he did give me a livescan form after the interview. My GC was light green.
