One more week! :-D

I missed carrying. I got used to it when I had my San Diego permit, and had to give it up when I moved to LA county for work. It was even more painful living in Whittier literally two miles away from the Orange County line. So close yet so far. Never thought I'd carry again unless my career took me back out of LA.

Thanks AV for making it possible. But hope SCOTUS makes at least shall-issue the national standard. AV gets "most improved" award, but it's still wrong that the right to bear arms is subject to government veto.

When did she call you? Sometimes it takes a day to get the email

Be sure to check your junk or spam folder if you haven't done that already, sometimes the e-mail servers assume stuff is junk mail when it really isn't.

Thought I was not going to get the call for interview but finally got it last week.

6/14 - emailed them about possibly amending my application
6/15 - received email saying my application was received and that I would have a chance to explain further to investigator during interview
9/9 - missed call for interview
9/9 - called back and scheduled interview

I wonder why AV doesn't look at Staffing the CCW Unit with some of the Deputies that are injured and on light duty? That would alleviate some of the pressure and doesn't require BoS Approval for any positions, nor would it create a new position. It would be just a temp position while they are on the injured list.

I have a buddy that's a deputy. He said that due to funding cuts, lots of those deputies are working court duties.

OK homies. So my deputy asked that I revise my GC slightly and requested that I email it to him. I did. I also included my training cert.

Should I email my cert elsewhere too?

He told me to go ahead with training but wasn't clear where I should send the completion.
