10+ years with CA CCW.

My vehicle Gunvaults only now gets used if I go inside a Post Office, into court for Jury Duty, Vote @ polling station, or when I go to the Sheriff's stations for the 2 year CCW renewals.

Just an update on my timeline.

Thurs April 22 - application mailed in
Mon May 17 - check cashed
Thurs July 15 - call for interview (They asked for me to come in the following Thurs, I had to ask for a later date bc of an oral surgery already scheduled. They said they would follow up with me first week of August)

Getting close to 60 days since I turned my app in person at Temple station 1st week of June. I expect a call from a detective in the ccw unit 1st to 2nd week of Aug possibly from a 323 area code. What has your caller ID say when you guys got your call?

Nice, trying to come up with a good solution myself for when I can't bring the fun with me (entire safe has to be out of view and permanently attached to the vehicle somehow). Cant even leave a mag unlocked (schools).



By the way, while we all wait, and so you don't have to use ammo, everyone go get a mantis x10 so you can dry fire practice and I have someone to compete and compare with.

Heck I could even get a group order going, for $180 each!

I don't even stare anymore. I've made myself forget about it for hours at a time. Then it turns into days LOL. My phone is always near me so I'm just not going to stress out about it anymore. If I get the call/email to train, cool. If I don't then so be it.

I use a small Vaultek, Lifepod with the cable attached to the seat frame and slid under the seat.

Have you looked at Tuffy Products? I bought a sliding drawer that is bolt to the floor. They make a few custom ones for various vehicles.
