My thoughts: still uncertain what good causes would be considered acceptable outside of employment. The example he gave, a stalker who has been arrested several times, is an exceptional case. Would it have to be considered an exceptional case if it outside the scope of employment?

But then again, I know of two examples as recent as August that are LG that were accepted. I am hoping that those of us put in that maybe pile were put there partly because they are understaffed and not because they are ultimately denying us.

Villanueva finally addressed a question regarding good cause. He stated that a FEW outside the scope of employment related good causes are accepted. One example is if you have a stalker. You need to provide evidence and your application will be given a fair shake.

A second question was that someone has been waiting six months for an interview, what could be done to speed up the process. He said they are understaffed and to be please be patient. They are planning to take the process online.

Turn it to yellow on the map. That's confirmation, probably no LG is getting a permit again, even if some got through early on.

Hopefully this is just a temporary thing and SCOTUS forces the change in June.

How long does it usually takes SCOTUS to render decision after the trial? I was thinking reapplying within a year of application, in my case April 21st

I had my interview in mid July, got my denial a week or so before Vader. So, don't count on it meaning anything.

They will never give a black and white answer as to what makes for GC outside of work related or specific threats related reasonings. This is because they don't want people just artificially setting up and manufacturing a GC that will fit into those parameters. They're looking for applicants to submit genuine GC, even if it's recreation related, and providing the supporting evidence that they face potential safety risks from these activities.
