At or about 14:00 in, the commentator puts on his Wanker Hat and starts making false comments and attributing them to CRPA.

AT NO TIME did CRPA TAKE CREDIT, for AV'S CCW POLICY.

This Wanker Hat wearing Bozo, tries to make it sound as if CRPA claimed, AV "caved" to CRPA pressure. And then attributes his false claim to CRPA.

He reminds me of several CG members that repeatedly pull the same crap.

The County of Los Angeles is one of those agencies that has decided to make changes to their current CCW issuance program by hiring more staff to process applications and make a strong effort to get law abiding citizens issued a license. This comes after many talks with other pro-2A Sheriffs and CRPA to work towards solutions for law abiding citizens who choose to carry a firearm for protection outside of the home. We applaud Sheriff Villanueva for increasing his program.

CRPA was one of many 2A advocates orgs, along with established Pro 2A Ca sheriffs, who AV consulted and spoke with.

WANKER said that "he heard it 2nd or 3rd hand in an E mail". Then falsely claims it was CRPA dictum.

For all the AV fawning that now goes on here on CG. I would still give AV the same "C" grade that CRPA give him 3 yrs ago. Which while far above the "F" that prior sheriffs deserved. Is still far from an "A".

ETA ...... Then at 16:00 in. AV starts spouting asinine CDC Obuma claims that having a gun is makes it more likely it will be used against the owner.

Received phone to schedule interview on 5/17. Also sent email after confirming appointment.
Interviewed 5/19, started livescan same day after
Livescan completed 6/10

Received phone call on 8/10 to clarify with supporting document, which I had already submitted with my original application. Told the deputy I had already submitted it with my application, deputy checked (different deputy from my original interview) & saw it. So she gave me the OK to go a head with training. I did not receive an email just a phone call.

Submitted training & cert 8/22. Received an email later in the day "Firearm training and certificate received. You will be contacted when your file has been approved and we are ready to issue your license."

Just confused, was this a generic email they sent me ? B/c the deputy over the phone told me I was approved & to submit training. I did not want to email back bothering them saying the deputy over the phone already told me im approved & to submit training.

Yeah, seems like a generic response. I got the same response. Submitted my training cert August 16.

Can't help but wonder if my file is lost somewhere and I don't want to annoy them by asking. Has anyone else had their livescan complete in May with no training email/call until now??

Depends what your timeline is like. Did you do your interview in May as well or did you do your livescan ahead of time?

Yea I see it same way, If Villanueva wins then you get a few extra years, And if he doesn't, then I don't see any renewals happening for the common folk.
