Tried to search the thread but didn't really find the answer I was looking for. I bought a pistol that I want to put on my ccw application that I bought years ago when people were still doing Single shot exemptions. If I recall correctly it was a m&p shield 9mm that was drosed as a different caliber. Has anyone placed a sse firearm on their ccw application?

You can get the gun re-DROSed (is that even a word?) to you by pawning it and then reclaiming it. It will be re-DROSed back in whatever it's current configuration is and SSE will no longer matter. You will have to wait the regular waiting period to pick it up, so just don't catch yourself in a bind by having to do your qualification while it is in gun jail at the pawn shop. Way cheaper than a new gun and the wait involved with that. It's probably best to start that process ASAP if you are going to go the pawn route. I would clarify with the pawn shop that this is what you are trying to do before you actually enter the transaction.I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.
