Some people, like myself, had the email in my inbox as soon as I hung up.
Others got it at the end of the day.
A few, didn't get an email at all, they just showed up at the facility with the documentation needed.Lockdown

Tried searching the thread but didnt find a answer...
Does lasd still require you to apply and be denied by lapd if you are in city of los angeles? The last updated document on lasd website was from last year so I was hoping that had changed. Thanks!Comment

Welcome to the thread. As of the 1st/2nd week of April LASD does not require a denial from LAPD. Just apply directly.Lockdown

Has anyone actually received some sort of denial by phone or over the mail? I have seen the question asked a few times but have not seen anyone answer it. I mailed in my application on 4/14. They received it on 4/15 and check cashed on 4/30. Does everyone get an interview? or do they just send out denial letters if they feel your GC will not suffice?4/14 application mailed.

I think if you actually spend time on this thread and read enough of the material, chances of denial are pretty low.
Unless you said something stupid at the interview like "Clippers is LA's basketball team. Clippers in 5."
Not only that, if I got a denial letter, I would be so depressed I wouldn't even dare show my face on Calguns.Lockdown

Have not been called for an interview yet. I was merely curious if everyone who submits an application is granted an interview. But I will continue reading the thread to see if I find the answer.4/14 application mailed.
