Took 3 weeks from submission of training cert to license pick up. Just be patient. There is an influx of applicants. My friend has been waiting for almost 4 wks now from submitting his proof of training.

What date did you and your friend submit the certs? It seems the other post got it quicker than you guys, within a week, and still falls in the timeframe of when you guys sent the email

Did they call or email you to pickup your CCW? I had emailed my training certificates on 5/15 Sunday and received a response 5/16 Monday morning that they will work on creating my profile and when ready to schedule a pickup. Today marks 1 week and haven't received a response yet/

I got the call about 2 hours ago for an interview at the Whittier location! The deputy said he would email me all the information, but it has been two hours and still no email. I don't have a number to call him back either lol.

How long does it usually take to get the email with all the information?

How long does it take to get an email from them regarding training after live scan?
Well, I have one scheduled for next weekend anyways.

Some people get it on the same day. Some don't. I'm still waiting for the go to training e-mail. Livescan cleared roughly two weeks ago.

I've also heard conflicting stories as to how livescan results are delivered. Some say via e-mail and some via snail mail. I asked one of the deputies and he said that DOJ is mailing some of the results by mail. Not sure why some get e-mailed and some get mailed.

I received the email while still on the call with the Deputy. I'm sure it'll get to you soon, definitely long before your appointment. Plus, I'm sure they already told you what to bring over the phone.

Yes, can you go over that with me again? haha, I was half awake when I received the phone call. I know he said my drivers license, passport, work badge, work evaluation, utility bill.

My interview is tomorrow morning morning so hopefully I receive it soon lol.

Bring any supporting documentation you have to back up your good cause statement along with the stuff you mentioned, and bring your vehicle registration just in case. They wanted that for mine. You can send them a quick email for the instructions. Sending them the email for where to go tomorrow, right now wont hurt. Dont leave anything to chance. CCW_unit@lasd.org

You should receive a call that is "Restricted" to coordinate your interview date when it comes up.

You will get a call if they want to schedule the interview with you, that's when you will provide your email address to the deputy. You're good, just hang tight.

The phone # of the deputy will be on that email. Maybe he misherd you and typed it in wrong. I would just show up at the time you discussed with all the documentation you need.
