What actions can I take if my DROs is still delayed at the 30 day mark?

Probably none I'm guessing since it's Commiefornia?

With the amount of delay going on with the DOJ, I'd probably pay for a live scan and still be waiting for them slow *** agents to review it...

I have a DROs at Turners, it's day 29 and still not approved. Their policy is they won't deliver if it's undetermined, but they'll give me a refund minus the DROs fees. They've lost my business because of that policy.

I'm trying to figure out what I can do if it doesn't get switched to undetermined and stays on delayed past the 30 day mark. I just want my money back at this point once it goes past 30 days.

Check the Turner's specific paperwork. Unless this situation is specifically disclosed, tell them that you'll take them to small claims over the DROS fee because it is their undisclosed business practice to not release on "undetermined" after 30 days and not the law of the land.

It's disclosed on their transaction paperwork that they have you sign. I should have read it, but again who does? It's okay, I'll eat the DROS fees as a lesson learned. Never doing business with Turners again.

Disclosure of, or even requirement of customer signing, an illegal "disclaimer". Doesn't make it "legal" Or protect a business from civil suit. It only serves to give the customer the false impression that such protection exists.

A sales agreement, is a "contract". Wherein monies are paid for services rendered, and/or goods received, from seller to buyer. A contract that is based on an illegal act, defined by law. Even if both parties initially agree to it. Is worthless and unenforceable.

So Turners is telling me that the DOJ has 30 days from the day that they switched me to Delayed status to determine if I'm eligible for gun ownership... So since my status was switched to Delayed on day 14, they are trying to tell me DOJ has another two weeks.

Can anyone shed some light on this, I thought it was 30 days from the start of the DROS period...

                            Livescan clears up identity questions.
Say your name is John Smith.
There are a LOT of John Smiths.
One of them might be a prohibited person and that is triggering a delay for YOU that a DOJ person to manually verify that the prohibited John Smith is #12345 and you are John Smith #25632.
By having the livescan on file, the mistaken or questionable identity issues get skipped over automatically.

Your delay should not be ID related then.
