For the Turnover 5.56 they (FERRO) list 7.62x39 and AK mags specifically... and same is on one pf the 5.56 front flaps with friction fit I have these two and they are nice
"Fits magazines for 5.56x45 / .223 / 7.62x39
When using AK magazines we recommend the use of PMAGs only for abrasion."

I recently received my surplus LE level III-A vest and I am very pleased. They spent a lot of time on the phone fitting me (have a flexible cloth tape measure) with the best vest for my concerns. They also sold me a few surplus panels on the cheep for testing. I’ll post photos later but my vest looks like it belonged to a desk jockey or just hung in a supply room. I do have a small trauma plate but could add rifle plates in a carrier over it.
I paid $250 for perfectly serviceable high quality second chance monarch vest. I also bought some of their sweat wicking undershirts which I highly recommend. I did about a 45 minute scooter ride with my 10-year-old on razor scooters with my IWB and armor but no sweat wicking undershirt and I won’t be doing that again LOL
