Thats why I prefer the JPC1.0 over the 2.0. The 1.0 already has a molle front flap with integrated 3 mag pouch. You can carry 3 m4 mags right out of the box. And its $40 cheaper.Last edited by Tere_Hanges; 01-16-2021, 4:57 PM.CRPA and NRA member.

My first step into the world of armor. Learning alot that's for sure.
Any thoughts on the hesco 4401 plates?
I just bought the L210s and the 4401 seem a bit better.Kyle "Kenosha Kid" Rittenhouse did nothing wrongComment

I'm satisfied with my 4-pc Level III+ plates in my Weesatch plate carrier with 6x2 mag pouches. Is it a heavy pig to wear, yes, and I'd never wear that rig over water but it's my hunker-down gear. If I need to pull that on, I'll be behind cover & leaning on something. It's not meant for running & gunning.
Yeah, I'll eventually go to PE plates, but after it improves another gen or 2, and after getting NVGsVae VictisComment

Wanting to go a different direction with my setup (Shellback Patriot with lightweight AR500 level 3+ that I mostly use for exorcise). After re-reading this entire thread and then some, I ended up buying a Crye Airlite SPC. Now I need to find a set of large plates to match it and my body size (long torso). My criteria is finding sub 6lbs per plate, level “III+” or level 4, multi curve, and under $400 per plate.
So far it looks like I should be considering the RMA 1093 which is listed at $319.99 each with a 6-8 week lead time. Any other good suggestions that I may have missed? Thanks for any input. Take care.
