Definitely recommend spall guards in addition to build up coating. In all fairness I want to re-test this with maybe the plates in a carrier, as well as using PE and ceramic

Anyone know where the crye jpc 2.0 is in stock?Kyle "Kenosha Kid" Rittenhouse did nothing wrongComment

I just got the hesco L210s what size JPC 2.0 will fit these?Kyle "Kenosha Kid" Rittenhouse did nothing wrongComment

10x12 L210s will fit the medium JPC 1.0. Dont know about the 2.0 but I'm guessing they will fit the medium 2.0 as well. The JPC is designed for USGI SAPI cut plates but L210s are very thin and the JPC is very stretchy so they will fit even though they are wider and shorter than SAPIs. There will be about an inch gap in the bottom to fill up with some foam like material.CRPA and NRA member.

I use a medium in the jcp2.0 and it fits with a little extra room. I would get the spartan backers to get more fill. A large jpc2.0 would be too big for the l210Comment

Ok thanks. Does crye sell directly to civilians?Kyle "Kenosha Kid" Rittenhouse did nothing wrongComment

Yeah but prepared to wait 6+ months if you order direct.
Plenty of retailers have had JPCs in stock the recent weeks. Best bet is to just sign up for emails or check here religiously.

At just over one pound for the entire carrier, the JPC 2.0™ offers a variety of configuration options to suit an operators needs in terms of protection, modularity, and comfort... , Tactical Gear/Apparel, Body Armor & Vests
Evike has black/coyote in stock in medium.

Is evike airsoft? I don't want an "airsoft licensed" copyKyle "Kenosha Kid" Rittenhouse did nothing wrongComment

Evike is the retailer, Crye is the manufacturer. Some airsoft retailers sell the real stuff as well as copies. Evike pretty much sells everything. Its funny because sometimes the airsoft retailers like Evike will have more gear in stock faster than other retailers.CRPA and NRA member.

Just my 2 cents. BLUF: I suggest folks have both a set of ceramics and a steel plates if you are a prepper and/or workout.
Ceramics plates are great when your agency/department is replacing them ever 5 years or when you dropped them hard. But if you are a civilian prepper, you may want to keep a set of back up steel plates since they have +20 year shelf life. My ceramics just sit in the closet. But I workout with my steel plates (level 3+ lightweight) so I get a ROI. They've actually paid for themselves already. It pains me to pay to replace my soft armor plates and panels (level 3a) every 5 years, but it'll hurt a little more to replace my ceramic plates (level 4) in a few years from now. I believe 3+ will cover threats in my area, but level 4 ceramics do give me more peace of mind against AP rounds. With all the pros and cons, have a set of each, ceramics and steel (with trauma pads) in your kit. I suggest RMA 1155 and AR500 level 3+ lightweight with build up coat. Each set will weigh 16.5 lbs. Hesco/BAO L210 for about 11 lbs a set if your body just cannot take the stress anymore. But if you are young, start with heavier ceramics, train with them, then go lighter when its time to replace them and keep training.Comment
