Voodoo??? Was he a fighter pilot? In another life maybe?? Maybe some time in CalGun's very own "Fighterpilot's" basement playing "undress" may help his "dress up" tendencies..
Wasn't there a review of a FOG carbine class that was less that complementary posted not too long ago?? I think the class was run by one of "Voodoo's" brothers in arms; "Hollywood"! ( where do they think this crap up?? )Last edited by Ronin2; 08-23-2014, 10:10 AM.Comment

kind of like the local motorcycle [cooks corner ] hang out. full on biker outfit with bed roll mounted on the handle bar to go grab a beer 5 miles awayI just don't like posers, fakes or cheats. What can I say
Nothing really. Just find it weird everyone needs to sport full BDU and tac gear to demonstrate a muzzle brake or hit their local range.
I get the train how you fight, but half of the guys rockin these BDU's are still preparing for zombies
. i guess it is about belonging to a group.

There's a very real possibility that they learned: safe gun handling, familiarity with their firearm, trigger control, focus, breath control, posture and position, cheek weld, what ammo their gun likes best, what ammo they like best, how to load a mag, how to clear a jam, etc.
They could also have learned that some people want to play as the untapped mercenary resource vigilantly practicing in case they get 'the call'.

Yeah I have heard this all before, for a bunch of men you sure spend a bit too much time checking out and judging other men's outfits...
I wear dress slacks to work, don't own jeans, and range trips are in kahki cargo pants and usually a gun related t shirt. I also sometimes practice with my chest rig because I need to familiarize myself with where mags go and how it feels using it.
But this is calguns, and its cool to belittle people that act different then the main group.Originally posted by FranklincollectorIt was administered with a toothpick and placed on a street taco.Comment

I'm glad I met the first perfect human in the world, you.Lots of people have experience shooting. That does not automatically make them safe shooters. Again, you might want to reevaluate who you go shooting with if you feel the need for full body armor when you go to the range. There is no such thing as an "accidental discharge" of a firearm. There are plenty of NEGLIGENT discharges though. I don't care how many years experience someone has with firearms, negligent is negligent and I don't want to be around idiots who are negligent. If you insist on shooting with people who you feel might be negligent and shoot you, that's your problem.
Next time I step inside a shoot house, I'll be sure to tell myself, or maybe even the other guys, that we don't need a full kit. Because the Internet told me so.
The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.
