So that's airsoft? I was playing that fourty years ago ... Back then we just called it "shooting the nurdy fat kid with BB guns" only "gear" needed was a Crosman 760 air rifle so you could use as many or few pumps as you thought the fat kid deserved....

Well, I can see how you might think I'm an amateur from that picture. The shirt and tie offer no operator credibility whatsoever. But you should see me on the range and on the sim battlefield in all my tactical operator gear! If you saw me draped in my operator gear, you would have no doubt about my true skills.

How do guys seriously not get embarrassed dressing like this for the range?



I can understand if you are actually a Gov agency or Active duty to be in uniform/BDU's but for private ranges and these "Tactical Solutions" companies to wear this stuff.. How do you not feel awkward putting on BDU's and gear during the entire 20 min your gearing up to do a standard range day??

I work on a actual military base and these guys have more gear for this range video than actual Agencies/Military range drills.. Half the time they are in 5.11 pants/BDU's and have a simple side arm holster and their rifle in a sling with a T shirt.

Hell even the seals train in T shirts and NWU pants and that's it. How do you out dress actual operation teams for practice drills and not feel retarded?

I could care less how someone dresses up to go to the range, ive gotten looks from people when they see me wearing baggy jeans and jordans, thinking im some street thug tryna be "gangsta", no i wear that because i like to wear that clothing and i feel comfortable wearing it. so if some guy wants to be a "mall ninja" as long as he or she are safe i dont give a damn, now when the range isnt crazy ill make small talk especially when i see a type of fire arm ive never seen before, and if some "mall ninja" or anyone else for that matters talks down to me i will speak my mind to them and tell them off.

When i go the range i go to practice since i do carry. i practice drawings from the holster strong and off hand shooting, double taps etc. some times i just practice using the reset on my firearms. I am by no means an expert, as Jerry Miculek says you never stop learning.

SO as long as the person in the lane is respectful and safe i dont give $.02 what they are wearing
