Getting profiled is nothing new to me, I just posted this to bring the issue to light for gun enthusiasts. There are gun owners of every color, creed, age, gender, and walk of life. You should never profile a fellow gun lover.

Sorry but I have been put in a similar situation as a seller.. With firearems related items I will always do my due diligence and ask questions for liability reasons if I see fit. At least I can say i asked if there is a knock on the door.

Woukd you sell something no questions asked if you had a suspicion they may be a prohibited person? I wouldn't. I wouldn't take it personally if somebody asked me either. I would shrug it off and go about my day.

Well idk if its my experience from living in the big city, but I can distinguish someone who is a gang member and is probably up to no good from some kid that just dresses like his favorite rapper.

So true...But I dont think they were trying to go mainstream, well the early years they werent trying anyways. Funny to see a person in "grunge" but yet their flannel and boots are BRAND NEW...LOL

Perhaps it's not about your tattoos but your dress, if you dress and act like gang banger, people will most likely to label you as such

Yep. I don't want to be compared to a whore, so I don't wear a whore's uniform. Simple as that. When I'm at OSH and need help, I look for a person wearing a green OSH shirt, with an OSH name tag.

Uhm, you just did that because I never said that at all. Your interpretation of what you think I was saying is wrong. What I was trying to say is, god forbid someone else have any problem with what someone chooses to do with their OWN BODY.

So can I. But there are plenty of other things that can give off the impression they are of questionable persons in my mind. You said you think it was your tattoo's that led him to question you but it could have been other things you are unaware of that triggered his response.

What age adults are you referring to? If you mean middle aged, lets just say old people, of course they probably wont like it. But if ur talking 40 and under, chances are they probably have tatts themselves or kids with tatts. Hell, even my grandpa who is goin on 60 is considering getting his first tatt in the near future. Its not taboo anymore.

Personally I am surprised you have taken to the internet to complain about how someone has treated you based on something caused by yourself.

People don't get hired because of their skin color. People don't get promoted because of their sex.
