You don't, because you're not allowed to do it anymore.

If we were still allowed to; you can open carry all you want - just don't hold a freakin' rally and don't open carry a rifle. The expressed point of the rallies were to "inform people" that they could open carry - in other words, they were meant to draw attention to it. Stupid.

    Never said they were dufus.

Uh no, they drew attention to it and because of that it was taken away.
I use to be an anarchist but I quit that; there's too many rules.

      This is incorrect.

The rallies, as I recall, were in RESPONSE to proposed legislation banning the practice. The movement to ban OC was an artificial , media & government driven strawman churned up when the anti-gun CA government encountered RESISTANCE to their common-sense reforms.

The very phrase "taken away" sickens me. Firearm related rights are not privileges delegated to the citizenry like candy to kids. At least last year, some folks stood up to the Political Machine that's determined to grind us all into dust.

I'll say this much; OC sorted out who the doers and the bleaters were. As gun owners attacked other gun owners for exercising their rights, CA's government was laughing their arses' off in Sacramento.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.

        Except right here:

Please pay attention to what you have actually said before you start in with the name calling.

Why is it fat people that are always against civil rights?

There's no mention the guy has any training whatsoever. All they say is that he's from a military family. If that's the case, why doesn't he just join the military or police force?

Kid seems mental, who carries a gun to pick up trash? He should be forced to quarter troops in time of peace.

"Police say he's not breaking any laws because he's not pointing the gun at anyone or threatening anyone with it."

End of story. Move along. That should have been the first line spoken by the news anchors, not the last.

The Gun Grabbers love guys like the fool in the video.

Inadequate Personalities parading around in public screaming "LOOK AT ME!!! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO WANDER AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD ALL DRESSED UP LIKE A DEMENTED CLOWN!!! LOOK AT ME EXERCIZING MY RIGHT!!! LOOK AT HOW STUPID AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS I AM!!!"

This reminds me of the ACLU defending the right of the American Nazi Party to stage a march in full Nazi regalia through the Jewish neighborhood in Skokie, Illinois. Someone should shove that rifle up that kid's butt. Just because a person is aware they have a right doesn't mean they should make a mockery of it.

When people prove they have no idea how to exercise a right with simple common sense, it makes it a lot easier for the majority to justify stripping that right away.

If his family were worth a nickel, military or not, they would get the kid into intensive therapy, now.
"Self defense is not a fashion show. A defensive handgun is not a little black dress, or a purse."
Remember, the overwhelming majority of anti-gun thinkers are not stupid enough to be "afraid of guns." They are afraid of stupid/immature/crazy psycho people with guns.
And as always, being friendly, courteous, and respectful is the easiest way to bend people to your will.
