This is why we can't have nice things

Do we really need tacticool geeks like this pressing the 2nd amendment? I think he's a neighborhood nuisance that makes gun owners look bad.

Geek or not. He has enough back bone to stand up for his American given right. IMHO

As a guy who's potentially just as geeky as this guy, I applaud him. Why this is news worthy is another matter all together...

How is he pressing it? More like he's using it. Who gives a **** what an anti-gun ***** thinks? What she thinks and feels are second to our rights.

Can he come and patrol my neighborhood? For free? I mean, we have to PAY for patrols and this guy does it for free, why are his neighbors complaining?

A guy who needs to carry a gun to pick up trash is mental. Open carry with his tacticool gear makes people nervous. Normal people do not walk down the street all geared up for war, 2nd amendment or not.

quoted from the vid: "I think the rifle is what scares everybody...because why do you need a rifle to pick up trash? Get a trash bag."

There's no mention the guy has any training whatsoever. All they say is that he's from a military family. If that's the case, why doesn't he just join the military or police force?

Because there's no requirement to have served in the military to exercise your 2nd amendment rights.

As far as taking a rifle to go pick up trash, so what? Methinks you've got a bit of an anti personality. It's not like it was the kid contacting the media to go parade around the starbucks open carrying.

I come from a family of doctors (ok I actually don't), but have no training myself. Would you like me to volunteer at your hospital? I can perform whatever operation you would like.

Since when does defending oneself require years of training? Congrats, you're a closet anti.

lol that's a good one. Who's he defending himself from? I'm not anti-gun, I'm anti-moron. You fail to have understanding between the two.

Since when does someone need to be actively defending themselves to have the right to bear arms?

Seriously, just stop and think about that for a moment. With your logic, no one in the US could ever carry anything.

I know several people with no medical training who volunteer at hospitals. I'm sure any one of them would be happy to have you pick up trash in the parking lot.

That's neat but all of you would call 911 and arm yourselves if your kid came running into the house and said "daddy daddy there's a stranger walking around outside with a gun". lol
