Maybe he wants to make a difference at home, in his own community, rather than in some ill-conceived and poorly supported nation-building exercise in anywhereistan.

I'm glad we have the 2nd Amendment, but I bet each and every person on this site knows at least some people who they would not feel comfortable with walking down the street with a rifle, plenty of loaded mags, and a big knife.

I know a bunch of people who I am not comfortable with being allowed to drive, have children, or vote - but I don't try to stop them from doing so based solely on that discomfort.

Do you also draw the line for the 1st amendment when some religious leader, politician, or newscaster makes misleading and inflammatory statements that cause more terror in the community than a terrorist?

When they make wild claims about killing, or racism, or the will of god (by whatever name)?

What should we do with these people?

If it's the same guy every day, over and over, who isn't doing anything. Then I think you need to have a chat with your kids for flipping out over nothing. If you have kids who believe the only people who are supposed to be carrying firearms are the cops, you're part of the problem.

Right....... Way to insert cops. My kids know their way around a firearm and know to recognize a threat like a stranger with a gun.

The same guy walks around your neighborhood everyday openly carrying a shotgun on his back and that's normal.

All of the political BS aside (I'm against gun control), there's nothing normal about that.
