Any of the people on the very short list that I'd ever loan a gun to, would never ask because they have their own.

Don't let anyone ever borrow ANYTHING for the sake of impressing a girl.

      Seriously, let's think about this...
I can think of a 1000 ways it would end poorly and only one way it would not.

            "NO."

Little **** needs to grow up and take some responsibility for himself.

Litter f****r can buy his own guns, his own ammo, and shoot himself in front of/show off to the ladies with his own gear.

Given what you've described, I wouldn't lend him my car either. Maybe a tool or 2 under $300 total.

You're better off NOT going shooting with him. If he didn't invite you, assume he doesn't want you there. <Thank God.>

Your guns, your responsibility. NEVER forget that. Or the legal system will remind you in some way you will not like or appreciate.

ah....no. Just asking for trouble on many fronts with this one. Tell him to take his (just like yours) hard earned $$ and rent at a range to impress his friends. The fact he asked for free ammo too says it all. Danger danger.

We all seem to learn this the hard way. It's quite unfortunately, but from my experiences, people tend not to treat other people's stuff with the care and respect something loaned out of friendship deserves. Been there, done that and been burned. Just not worth it anymore. And with firearms? Forget it.

And yes, I will give him directions to Ammo Bros if he asks me about ammo again. Don't people know how much ammo cost nowadays?
Of course he knows how much ammo costs. Why else would he be wanting to shoot all of yours instead?

There is a short list of people who I wouldn't have reservation loaning a gun to, but random cousin out of the blue isn't one of them.

Actually, he's my cousin. I've looked after him here and there because his bastard dad left him and his mom (my aunt) when he was just one and his lastest "dad" figure also just left. His mom is still going through the legal process.

Not that I would need to feel bad for him, as he doesn't seem to mind and wanna hang out with chicks. I mean, this is a grown adult. You you would think he knows better.

But yes, all consensus here seems to be "hell no". I can sleep better knowing I have the entire Calgun brotherhood backing me, lol!

To a 21 year old 32 is an unfathomably long time away.

nope, not one borrows unless i'm there next to them at the range. i won't even let family borrow out of my sight, just to many liability if they get injured or injure someone else.

Christ you guys are anal retentive. In the ops situation, hell no is the appropriate answer. But if you cant trust your so called "friends" to loan a firearm too, then I would suggest ALL OF YOU, need to redefine who you call "friend".

To note, I have 3 "TRUE FRIENDS", the kind that their is nothing I would not do for them, no matter the burden it put on me. And I know, that if I were in the same situation, they would be there for me, and they have been, no matter what the cost. That, is a TRUE FRIEND. Everyone else, they are people I know.
