My cousin and I borrow each others guns. we have gone shooting together enough to know that we know how to safely use guns, clear jams, etc.
We also pay for whatever ammo we use.
My parents, grandparents and sister I would also trust with my guns, but they never ask to borrow mine. I occasionally borrow one from them, but again, pay for ammo, safe use and generally clean them afterwardsComment

Umm, not quite. There are people I know, including family members that know **** all about guns, but if I absolutely had to do so, I could leave my guns with them and not worry about any potential incidents.
But that is also different than lending someone a gun for the purpose of shooting it.Comment

I would only lend my firearms out to close family and even then just for a day or two. If they really have a prolonged need for a firearm then buying one would be the best idea. Plus, then I get to shoot it too

I've only asked one person to borrow a gun, and that was my Dad. Only catch is, that he'll only let me take out a select few, and I can't touch his 1911 without him being there
Ironically, I don't think I'd let him take any of mine out with out me being there haha.Comment

Ha! So I spoke with my cousin and told him "no" (although many of you wanted me to say 'hell No') and we chatted a little about his experience with firearms (which was nonexistent). I was not surprised that he was going with female friends as he laid it all out (I was 21 once, I know how it goes) about this one girl.
Anyway, I told him about ammo bros and how he should pick up some ammo anyways if his buddies were bringing their firearms and he wanted to shoot them. So now he asked if I can take him there... I couldn't say no to him anymore, and I need more ammo anyway, so I guess I'm going to ammo bros now.Comment
