Why is this thread in General Gun Discussions????????

Gpal has it's own vendor forum.

Unfortunately in a Class Action suit the only people that get any real money are the lawyers ... on both sides. The injured parties get diddly.

And they only get that much if the one being "class actioned" has any assets. I don't think a 10 year old BMW is going to go very far in covering what GPAL owes.

its taking longer than expected, but everyone at gpal is working around the clock to try to fix the situation.
How much longer than 4 months (June 15 to be precise) do we move beyond "longer than expected"?

Because it can only be moderated by people outside of gpal. We have a thread that allows members to discuss gpal in a general topic which isn't what the gpal forum is for.

As long as everyone follows the rules it will stay open.

Found this info posted on another forum dated 10/4/10.

Detective Shooter from Healdsburg PD called me today. I had called him and left a message last week b/c someone else posted his info in another post as the man to talk to. He said the Sonoma County DA will be handling the case. I think he said the FBI will be involved too but I was so happy to know someone is actively pursuing this. All of the LE Agencies are meeting tomorrow and trying to get all of the info and complaints into one central place to start handling this. He said the DA or someone from that office will be contacting me for more info.
Oh no, it's quite true. I have already had email contact with him and we have a phone conversation schedule for next week. That was the earliest he could get to me (I emailed on Tues) given all the other phone interviews he currently has scheduled with other victims.

Actually the fellow I'll be talking to is:

                    Carl Chapman, Supervising Inspector
                    Marin County District Attorney's Office
Northern California Computer Crimes Task Force
                    455 Devlin Rd. Suite 207
                    Napa, CA 94558
                    (707) 265-2372

he is apparently co-coordinating this investigation.

a few people who didn't get their money for like a month got pissed off and have started making crazy elaborate stories and posting them in the gpal forum.

so, these lies shouldn't be taken down? when people are demanding money and making crazy accusations after they have been paid, and are just here to stir the pot, that should be left up?
A few people? For like a month?

Sonoma county DA had over 200 filed complaints as of Tuesday (10/7), and I have personally been chasing my money since June.

Time to wake up and smell the kimchee.

                        Please define "a while".

I've been waiting 4 months come next week.

Oh man, saying this is just the "tip of the iceberg" is a gross understatement.

I'd like an answer to that from somebody in the know.

the gpal forum is for you to talk to gpal about customer support. If you don't need support from gpal, don't post there, it will be deleted.

this thread, and others like it, are for people talking about gpal, not talking to gpal. If you post in the gpal forum, you are subject to the rules that the gpal rep decides on for the gpal forum. By posting in a non-gpal forum, you only have to worry about complying with the standard calguns forum rulles.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Why is Gpal being allowed to handle all of its customer support on Calguns when they have their own site? What is that all about?
