    GPal (Gunpal) problems?

Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem, but I recently sold a gun to someone who paid me through GPal (formerly GunPal), and the funds were legitimately in my GPal account. No problem, I could see the $$ sitting in my GPal account and I transferred the weapon to the buyer. I then submitted a request to transfer the funds from my GPal account into my bank account. The GPal website states that this process can take 3-7 business, which is the same time frame as is stated on PayPal's site. No problem - have done the same thing dozens of times (begrudgingly) through PP, without a hitch. The longest it's ever taken for funds to be deposited in my account is 3 business days, and it's usually 1 or 2.

But that was 17 business days ago, and still no $$ in my account. I've sent 2 email info requests to the GPal CS department and have gotten the exact same form-letter response both times. Something to the effect of, 'Due to some technical issues with one of our processing banks, you may experience a delay in receiving your funds'. Have tried 4 times to reach a CS rep on the phone to no avail (one time waited 92 minutes on hold until my phone battery died). Even called CEO Ben Cannon's cell phone and left a message - no response.

I recently received a blast email from GunsAmerica.com stating that they had become aware of GPal's troubles. And while they cautiously stated that they didn't think there was any malfeasance, they definitely recommended against using their services. If anyone else is experiencing similar problems with GPal, please let me know. I'm not generally the litigious type, but this situation is a classic class-action lawsuit in the making. I am not a plaintiff's lawyer, but am seriously considering contacting one. Please PM me if you are having these problems. Philip

I like corrupting PayPal with clandestine firearm transactions.

OK, I see many others are in the same situation. Has anyone contacted an attorney? This situation is inexcusable and ripe for a class-action lawsuit.

There are numerous threads on gun sites about GPal. I have never used it though I am signed up for it.

What I can't believe at this point is that they are still accepting members and doing business, knowing full well they seem have no money.

          Here is another interesting thread.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

It has been stated many times that they are in no way associated with Calguns, it wont be locked but it may get moved to the Gpal page

they are having issues, but all transactions are getting processed.
its taking longer than expected, but everyone at gpal is working around the clock to try to fix the situation.

Really? They have their own forum here and many of our higher up muckey-mucks are associated with them. Why do you think these threads get locked??

Maybe because some of the posters go overboard? There are forum rules posted at the top of every forum. Violations have consequences.

Threads get locked for lots of reasons. In the GPal forum, GPal reps have moderator power. Outside that forum, you take your chances with the rest of us.

And I have no connection whatsoever with GPal.

You're associated with CGN, and GPal is CGN's puppetmaster. Obviously you're connected and under GPal's control!
