Send him one ASAP that since he isn't responding you have no alternative but to dispute the charge.

It's great for sending money to friends and family. Goes straight into your bank account near immediately, no logging in at PayPal or Venmo to transfer to bank and waiting for it to deposit the next day.

Different tools for different jobs.

I only use it for face to face business, and a couple times when paying for audiophil2's services. Otherwise yeah there's way too much risk on the buyer's end.

This is the MO I've noticed. Newer member, posts a few "regular" gun-talk posts. Then responds to WTB ad. "I've ogt what you're looking for" Or "my friend has what you're looking for". text me at XXX to discuss.

Post the initial PM he sent you. You can leave the names out if you feel better. My guess is scammer. The person that tried to scam me on my WTB ad was also very cordial. But I already knew it was a scam. They sent me funky pics of the item that didn't match up to what they were selling.

Hey OP

When you were negotiating before the Zelle transfer, did he send pics of the optic and were they realistic?
Also if his previous posts were about H&Ks , he might be a member on hkpro.com

Not only it clears things up, it also prevents others from also being duped.

I'd give it a week. These are difficult times for everyone; a bit of patience is needed.

Isn't it funny that we the op says the seller is full of contact and all of a sudden difficult times for the seller happens after the sale.

When money changes hands communication is more important at every step so buyer knows they're not getting scammed. No excuses and no one here would go for that for $50, let alone $550!
