Be patient - real people aren’t Amazon. For instance our local post office isn’t open weekends and closes at 5:00 so mailing things locally isn’t always easy.

Be patient and give it a week, especially if the seller offered to ship it in the up front price.
All the carriers are being slammed. I still have returns in the trunk of my car because of the lines out to door at UPS and USPS.

Delayed shipping might be understandable, but the lack of communication for 4 days is not. Short of a legitimate emergency, there's no reason why someone involved in a deal can't take 10 seconds to respond to a text message or PM.

OP, what method did you use to pay? Hopefully, it's one that's disputable if push comes to shove.

I'm assuming you're using PM system, and you say he is posting in the forum.

There is NO EXCUSE for him not responding to your efforts to communicate with him, especially if you see him posting in the forum at the same time. IMO, this is really poor behavior. I can see delays in shipping during X-Mas time, but to basically avoid you for days is inexcusable. Especially after you paid him.

I agree with Oddball. When I get a PM it immediately comes up as a popup for me to acknowledge and respond. No reason at all not to at least say, hey got your payment, may take a couple days for me to ship it.

I’ve been very patient. I’m fine now, if he’d let me know what’s going on. But no texts since Tuesday evening saying he’d ship the next day.

Lack of communication is very frustrating. If the seller has a decent iTrader, I would give him until the weekend. But as others have said, short of an emergency, failure to communicate is inexcusable IMO.

Did the seller reply from one of your WTB ad?

Is the first reply or any responses from the seller have this in the bottom of message "Sent from TECNO on Tapatalk."

Did the seller ask you to send money to an email/cash app from the Calguns PMs or did you have phone text convo?

Did his name/number match any of the cash app or paypal etc info?

Usually, the seller communicates and sends a tracking number. Sorry you ran into a DICK, but most of the people I've dealt with on this site and two others have been very good.

I always worry about getting jacked, but it doesn't happen frequently I don't believe. Hope it works out.
