While it is widely known by the press that this ruling came down, it seems they are under the impression that it kept the status quo, as if it was just an affirmation of the original injunction.

CA DOJ (Hello Agents) are obviously aware, but it looks like another strategic Friday afternoon news release by the judge.

      It's out there .

The judge cited home invasions, including one where a pajama-clad woman took on three intruders: "She had no place to carry an extra magazine and no way to reload."

If you are referring to registered BBAW's, it's correct that they can use any capacity magazine.
Fixed magazine rifles are still limited to 10 rounds or less.

They say yes to Registered Assault Weapons and Bullet Button Registered Assault Weapons, because 30 round mags are standard for them and they are registered as AW's.

But a Maglock, Juggernaut, Hellfighter'l, etc fitted firearm, or otherwise 10 round fixed magazine, not registered as AW's, will be turned into one if a magazine large than 10 rounds is installed into the magazine well.

If it IS stayed next week then the one bought between the ruling and the stay would still have been bought legally.. right?

Who knows bro, it's a complete cluster. Roll the wheel and blow on the dice.

People can say they are going to ship and then get hit with something mid-week while they are trying to fulfill the order. Bercera knows this, so he is going to try and launch something pronto, maybe even tomorrow or on Monday. It's a tiny window for sure.

It's not that 20 or 30 rnd magazines are "standard" for anything. It's because magazine capacity is irrelevant for registered AWs. There is simply no mention of mag capacity as it relates directly to registered AWs.

I think standard is what comes with the rifle, I'm a Rifleman by title, 11-B-10, the standard issue AR magazine is 20 or 30 rounds depending on time. I like to think like you, but if the judge said standard magazine, that would be 20 or 30, AR and AK.
