Yeager could be the best trainer in the world and I still wouldn't go to his classes. He's an arrogant, narcissistic A HOLE. Just watch his videos. Dude thinks he's gods gift to man. Saw a video he posted once bragging about how much money he's making through tactical response.

Pretty much sums it up for me. I've never understood the overly Type-A persona that Yaeger and those like him put out there. If you're truly knowledgeable and an effective trainer, why all the commentary? You're record and your work should speak for itself.

Maybe that's the super secret thing the OP in this thread isn't supposed to tell us about? I can see the benefit of showing with your own guns(UNLOADED, seriously, wtf?) that they're only a tool. I don't mind mine getting dirty, dropped, or whatever but asking me to throw it on the ground and stomp on it if it's my own gun that I paid for with my own money as opposed to something issued? **** no. And then manages to ND his own gun in the demonstration process? Anyone with any sense should have immediately left and demanded a refund and compensation for wasting their time if that did actually happen.

I often teach people that their firearms are tools and to not baby them. That being said I consider it poor form to kill my students ride during the course of instruction.

I'm not a Yeager fan myself. But being in a bullet magnet is the last place I would like to be in a firefight. My combat experience has taught me that if you are going to STOP, you better find COVER, and that a vehicle is NEVER cover. Getting shot at is no joke and only training (or luck) will prevent you from being dead.

I dont like Yeager, but I have seen the video when it first released. I dont think he "ran away". Anyone thinking so has used too much RSO supervised ranges. When bullets fly, you do anything to survive. Besides, if he fled, he would of been half way back to their operating base to be picked up.

With that said, from watching his videos and the stuff he talks about, i wouldnt join his courses even if its free.
