Tactical response

All these guys training for SHTF scenarios involving squad movements, tactical reloads on optic equipped carbines should know that when the mierda actually does hit the fan they are all going to picked off piecemeal by those with rifles who can range a target (with their eyeballs) and put a round into them from many hundreds of meters away. There's a great course for that too. It lasts 13 weeks an it's on the other side of the chain link fence at Lindbergh Field.

Interestingly enough a similar course (in regards to shooting) which also includes stalking, tracking, ambush techniques, and "how to not get eaten by predators" happens for a lot of people for a week or two every fall; often starting when they are 12ish years old and continued for most of their life.
However, some of those same people lack the necessary SHTF skills of knowing how to match their plate carrier color to their camelbak.Calguns.net, where everyone responding to your post is a Navy Force Delta Recon 6 Sniperator.Comment

I don't know about that.

I have been on the firing line where people have had an ND while bringing up the weapon as they are prepping the trigger. In a perfect world it would not happen, I wouldn't bet anyone's life on a "perfect world"....
It is funny how everyone is so concerned about the camera man down range. Well, don't aim for the poor schlepp.
You go training and the instructor tells you to do the xyz and hit such and so targets. He Did Not say graze the camera or the guy holding it, did he ???
Just do what the trainer tells you and the camera guy will be OK. If anything, it will teach you not to shoot at anything and everything in site. It might be a misplaced friendly.

Best post I've read all year.
By far, the best gift I've been given was being lucky enough to have a dad that I hunted deer with growing up.

For 90% of the Calguns membership a course that teaches you how to shoot at 2 am in your underwear, half asleep, tripping over kids toys and a barking dog would be more realistic for defensive shooting. You, you, and you: Panic. The rest of you, come with me.
Incoming fire has the right of way.

Are you suggesting someone run a defensive pistol class with people training barefoot with legos scattered about? That's even more dangerous.Comment

Leap frogging.....
Im all for firearm proficiency training, but operating 007 is a bit funny.
When is this tactical fighting going to happen. When it does happen, can you still go to the grocery store to buy a 6 pack and potato skins?
And team training? So is this now your team? When do you gusy hook up for the war? You exchange ham radio signals or bat phone?
Or is team training for when you train your neighbors and arm them with rifles?
Is a beard required? Do you not shower for the 6 days and run Vaseline on the bung hole to prevent scaffing? Eating mres? Did they have a segment on what to do with wife and kids while out on patrol.
I guess i dont get the point of combat training. .squad tactics while living in usa..or are you going to middle east.
Im all for becoming a better shooter, just not clear on the squad operations. Maybe I need more friends with rifles red dots.
So you can shoot a gun. Can you fight with a gun? Sounds like you have a liberal mindset on firearms. Why bash someone for wanting to do more than stand static while shooting at paper? I live in the USA, I have also had my front door kicked while I was home. Own a gun,or don't own a gun. Train, or don't train. Become a victim or fight back. Dont bash another for wanting more knowledge than you....Ephesians 6:10Comment
