If you paid $550 for a class, why would you need to retake it?

Absolutely agree, no reason for them to be down range.

A bit of searching shows that tactical response seems to have split apart around the time period I took the course, so reasons like this may have been the reason why.

Well, I can't speak for what they're teaching and doing these days, but I still stand by that the class I was able to take was fantastic and was done incredibly safe and professionally.

I am not sure how you were changing mags on the ARs. Are those ARs with or without bullet buttons? did not see any one using a tool or at least it did not seem so.

When is this tactical fighting going to happen. When it does happen, can you still go to the grocery store to buy a 6 pack and potato skins?

And team training? So is this now your team? When do you gusy hook up for the war? You exchange ham radio signals or bat phone?

Or is team training for when you train your neighbors and arm them with rifles?

Is a beard required? Do you not shower for the 6 days and run Vaseline on the bung hole to prevent scaffing? Eating mres? Did they have a segment on what to do with wife and kids while out on patrol.

I guess i dont get the point of combat training. .squad tactics while living in usa..or are you going to middle east.

Im all for becoming a better shooter, just not clear on the squad operations. Maybe I need more friends with rifles red dots.
Not sure if every step of training is needed or wanted for average Home Defense, but it does not hurt to know how and to practice it once. Better to know and not need it.

Nevertheless, It seems to be fine training if you want to learn how to shoot under fire or stress and beyond what an NRA instructor can teach which is basically what grand pa or dad taught us for free.

              Thanks. Missed that part.

ooops. OK, now I get it. It did seem to go way smoother on the mag changes than we are used to here.

It is funny how everyone is so concerned about the camera man down range. Well, don't aim for the poor schlepp.

You go training and the instructor tells you to do the xyz and hit such and so targets. He Did Not say graze the camera or the guy holding it, did he ???

Just do what the trainer tells you and the camera guy will be OK. If anything, it will teach you not to shoot at anything and everything in site. It might be a misplaced friendly.

I wouldn't trust being downrange of anyone, especially mall ninjas taking their first class.

ya..I mean the weekedn warrios need video of them shooting paper and steel ..

I forecast "training accident" in 2016...at least the video will be swell.

Remember..when you are assigned to calling 911..don't say so and so been shot!...its "training accident at the rifle range"

at about 3:15..they are all backing up..guy is walking faster and muzzle is no more then 10 feet from back of guys head.....about 3 feet over
                      uhhh no thank you

zero reason to be doing that..well unless you want more people in your class to make more money... wonder how that liability insurance works.

                      ya..plate carriers on..better wear a helmet too

                                What a joke.

Aside from the mental giant standing down range on a live fire exercise...what was with the dude pointing his AR to the sky and doing a 360?

He was doing it completely arse backwards. Well maybe he was spinning in the correct direction.

                                The drill goes:
Cover down, keep the AR low, reload, then check behind you.
What, check behind you with a partially loaded AR?
What, point the rifle in the air so everyone can see you?
What, point the rifle in the air so the guy who is there can take it away from you easier?

Is this the same guy on YT who was smart enough to get his Tennessee CCW pulled by declaring war on everybody? Oh yea, sign me up.
