That's not luck at all, it's not as if he was sweeping the camera crew. He was demonstrating screwing around with the trigger, and the other rules of firearm safety which he appeared to be following, prevented the crew from being injured.

Had he verified it was empty, and then decided to sweep the crew while fingering the trigger, that would be stupid.

Leaving it loaded, sweeping the crew, fingering the trigger, and no one getting injured would be luck.

Exactly this !!!! Why anyone would go to the trouble to make a video about two very stupid ways to carry a loaded gun with the safety off, in a combat situation no less - IS BEYOND ME.

I know exactly who he is now - he's the guy with tinnitus and a new camera crew because the last one bailed on him while they could still get away without using a wheelchair driven by a straw in their mouth.

Now get back to your keyboard, commando - there's an internet war on and a subforum somewhere to shoulder roll into with jokes about gun pictures and off roster gun prices! Because taking gun pictures = lame, but making gun videos where people have to change their underwear afterward = just cool baby, too cool...

and you should be the one to let folks know what time it is.

Lame outlook and also not true.

This video is a good reminder to me, to be aware of anything even remotely similar to pulling the trigger. Certain retention holsters and gun mounted lights come to mind.

Well, at least no one is saying to use a trigger activated sniper weapon light. Yes, it's a thing and 2016 wasn't the first time they were at SHOT show.

How do you know there were not crew members in the direction he was pointing. (not just the Camera guy in front of him, but others off to the right)
If he inserted a loaded a mag and displayed that lack of trigger discipline, then you guys are welcomed to take his "Instructional Class"

I really hate this attitude. Here's another way to phrase what you're saying: "Hey, it wasn't really me that killed that guy standing next to me on the firing line at the range -- it was fate. It was just a matter of time. I was due for an ND."

Remember, it's negligence, not an accident.

You are responsible for every trigger pull.

I hope that never happens to me. Gonna bring out the dummy rounds and practice a little more after seeing that.

This clown probably polished that AK trigger down to 2lb pull because he's an operator.

That "clown" is an actual operator.

Well at least he didn't shoot himself in the foot like another expert famous on the interwebs. I give him credit for that.

Don't you know that your real life exsperiance of actually doing the things that high speed gun gamers and training groupies pretend to do means absolutely nothing.
You have to know who all these guys with cool sounding training schools are and attend all their courses to really be a high speed pretend war fighter and gunman. Your out of the lope man, do you even know the name of any ex-operators.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

At least TEX took one for the team and posted his ND....
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
                                (thanks to Jeff Cooper)
