EOTech Recall

I got my refund approval email from Eotech on 1/15 as well.
Let's see if i get the check soon as most ppl report that 3/11 is the next batch of checks going out.

I mailed out my eotech on 1/19/16 and called and they told me that my check was mailed out on the 11th as well. I was hoping to see it in todays mail, but no luck...

1/31/16: Refund request submitted for $1772.00 (exps3-0, g33, 512.a65)
2/8/16: Refund request approved
2/8/16: Package shipped insured for $2000 via USPS priority 2 day shipping
2/10/16: Package delivered to Eotech
2/17/16: Called Eotech and they are unable to give me a status and asked me to call back if i did not see a check in a few weeks.
2/18/16: Called Eotech again and got the same exact word for word response.
3/09/16: Called today and was told that since they have no update and it ha been over 30 days to email Michael.kroll@l-3com.com for status update. I emailed Michael and was told my request was not in their system and he asked for a copy of my approval email. I sent it to him and am currently waiting for an update. This has become quite nerve racking
3/13/16: I emailed Mr. Kroll back and forth with the information he needed. I gave him a copy of my approval email. He then told me the issue with my specific delay is that I was approved for the g33 magnifier when I shouldn't. He then asked me for my tracking number of the products I sent back. Once he had the tracking, he stated he would honor the approval and push forward the refund request. He states I should have my check in he first week of April.
3/16/16: Just received an email saying my check has refund has been processed and to wait 3-4 weeks

Here is the email:

Your return has been received and reviewed at the refund center, and is now being processed for payment. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your payment to arrive. You may check on your refund status after that time by contacting us at refundsupport@eotechrefunds.com or by phone at 1-888-952-9092.

My timeline matches yours except I never called/e-mailed for any updates.
2/9: shipped
2/11: delivered
3/16: email received saying return has been processed and I should receive the check in 3-4 weeks.

That's what happens when you wait until everyone is sending in their refund requests.

That is my feeling too.

If you waited until folks started getting notified that their checks were coming, or even worst, until they got their checks, you're going to be well behind the flood that they are receiving.

Plus you have to remember that they have contracted out, due to the volume, the disbursement of refunds. So now there is a longer lag between inspection of the item and the approval to send the checks

Whatever & Double Whatever. Like there was ever a good time to return your **** once the notice when out. Anywhoo, see below:

2-26-16 - Sent out USPS
3-16-16 - Got refund notice from EOTech stating 3 - 4 weeks for refund.

They are not sending out a confirmation email for receiving your shipped sight any longer. They received mine Tuesday so I called them today and was told the above infomation.

They did me, sucker for love.

Lady told me on the phone, if I do not recieve check by end of next week, call them and they will issue new check.

New batch of checks were mailed out this Friday. I also received a confirmation email on 1/15/16 but no check yet
