I've got close to pre Obama #2/Dec 14 prices from Cabelas. Gander is not to far behind them. Its just a matter of luck to log on when ammo is available that cheap though.

At least all centerfire ammo is back to reasonable prices and availability. My guess is most folks are shooting more centerfire and less or no .22 lr

Worried about ammo prices? I would be more worried about our 8% manufacturing and closing of the last lead smelter. In 3rd worlds there are tons of weapons and ammo but no one can afford them. Same thing that is coming here its just a matter of time now. The corpse is rotting and the vultures are circling.

That lead smelting plant closing will not effect ammo prices. Seek knowledge and you will find out why..

Just bought a 225 Remington pack at Walmart this morning. 10.97..

It is probably crap like Golden Bullets are but what the heck.

I hear supply's are still tight out in CA. Too bad, but it will soften soon for everybody. It goes out of the stores here in Nebraska pretty quick, but almost all Walmarts here are getting a decent supply in, several days a week..

It used to take a hour and it was gone after 9:00 AM. Now it takes till evening to disappear..

Can't even find em in my area. The mom and pop stores that do have are selling them for a premium. They had CCI mini mags for $18 per sleeve.

.22 around the Sac area not counting walmarts is still expensive for the bricks cheapest I've seen was around $50 for 500 I think it was just WWB also can't remember exactly. One store a few weeks ago was selling a bulk box of remington thunderbolt for about $65 I just chuckled and moved on after that. Glad I still have some but have been cutting back on the .22 usage just because it doesn't look like its going to return to normal for at least another year for .22.

agreed...demand is seasonal i believe (mostly summer recreation shooting with .22lr)...with winter bringing cold weather and shorter days, there ought not be so much consumed...meanwhile the factories run continuous and supply will regain ground on demand at least until spring...so stock up over the coming months for your summer fun!

Midway (midwayusa.com) is taking backorders on their CCI Mini-Mags. Expected delivery date is 12/31/13.

I've had Blazers on "back order" with Natchez for six months now. They even sent me an email asking to confirm whether I still wanted to leave them on back order. WTH! Sure go ahead! LOL!

                                Maybe Midway's different.

I know I'm gonna get got, but I'm going to get mine more than I get got though.
