    22lr ammo prices dropping!!

Just in the last couple of days, I've seen some major price reductions here on CalGuns Market place for 22lr ammo! It's about freakin' time! I've seen private ammo offered at $30-35-40 a brick down from $50-55 or more. The supply and demand situation seems to be coming back on 22.
Of course, this has had no effect on me personally as I've always been prepared on 22 ammo inventory---but now a bunch of my friends can also shoot their 22s...

I paid $100 locally for 750 rounds of CCI Mini Mags. I think that comes out to .14 a round. Not the best deal but I dont think its terrible for CCI Mini Mags. I have gotten just regular .22LR ammo for like .06-.08 a round. Its not really the prices, its more of finding it in stock at places

Scored 2x 500 round packs of CCI Standard Velocity for $39.99 per pack at Dicks yesterday. That's $.08/round which is roughly the same price I've been paying recently, but also the first time in weeks I've found any .22lr ammo.

I really look forward to the .22 lr supply getting back to even close to normal. The more and more ammo that gets out there into peoples hands the less demand there is going to be and we'll see things cool off.

When its available cheap and easy again I am going to buy like 20 cases of bulk packs and just be freaking done with it!

Unfortunately, prices probably won't be going all the way back down to where they were before the Sandy Hook incident.

We have to hit saturation of the market some time, that's when the prices will fall all around. The last time this cycle occurred, I bought a case of Blazers for $159 delivered, and lots of it locally as there were sales at Turners and Big 5 every week. Will it go way down, who can say?

Yeah, .22guy---I don't think that prices are gonna go back to pre-panic prices---do they ever? Still good to see market conditions starting to come back...

Exactly, we are at saturation point with 5.56 ammo as the availability and prices are close to being back to normal. Most people have all they want/need/can afford, and the market is cooling off.

I think handgun calibers will follow, and then .22 lr.

I really hope there is not another Sandy Hook type panic scare that screws everything up again.

Try using the Walmart app for your smartphone. I've been able to use it to score several Federal bricks for $24.

The gun-grabbers will use ANY shooting incident under their, "Never let a tragedy go to waste...", formula for their anti-gun agenda. Fortunately, the Navy Yard shooting deeply embarrassed blood hungry, liberal media when they magically tried to forge a shotgun and a couple of pistols into an AR15...

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

I have seen ammo at LGS but the prices don't seem to be great. Hopefully that's to follow.

I hope so, my stock of .22lr is under 10k
